Alystair Rogers is an interdisciplinary artist living in Los Angeles. He has shown at various institutions in and around LA including Monte Vista Projects, Human Resources, LAST Projects, Big Pictures LA, and the Beall Center for Art & Technology. He holds a BA in painting from UC Santa Barbara, and a MFA in Fine Art from UC Irvine. and currently teaches ceramics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CSSSA, and is proud to be a new faculty member at Crossroads Elementary. His work is inspired by the essentials—the planets, moons, tides, etc.
